Overtime Rules

Non-exempt employees must be paid at one and one-half times their regular rate of pay for:
(a) hours worked over 40 in a workweek,
(b) hours worked over 12 in a workday, or
(c) hours worked over 12 consecutive hours, regardless of the workday’s start and end time.

Provisions regarding overtime can be found at 7 CCR 1103-1-4

*Employers covered by federal law, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), must comply with wage regulations including minimum wage and overtime pay requirements.
