Overtime Rules

Under Minnesota state law, non-exempt employees who work more than 48 hours in a week must be paid at one and one-half times their regular rate of pay.

Provisions regarding overtime can be found at Mich. Comp. Laws § 408.934 Minn. Stat. § 177.25, Subdiv. 1

*Employers covered by federal law, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), must comply with wage regulations including minimum wage and overtime pay requirements.
