Alaska requires non-exempt employees to be paid overtime at one and a half times their regular rate for hours worked over 8 hours in a day and over 40 hours in a week.
Provisions regarding overtime can be found at Alaska Stat. § 23.10.060.
*Employers covered by federal law, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), must comply with wage regulations including minimum wage and overtime pay requirements.
