Growing Labor Costs Force Restaurants to Adjust Prices

We’re in National Restaurant News! Our 2019 Hospitality and Food Service Wage Inflation Survey unpacks the trend of rising labor costs and restaurants being forced to adjust their prices. Our respondents consisted of 4,000 restaurants and over 112,000 employees. 64% of operators reported reduced employee hours and 43% eliminated jobs due to the increase in labor costs.
